If you decide you like the Roon interface but are worried about the sound quality of the Airplay interface, you can get a small computer like this hP Mini running Roon endpoint software connected to the CXN's USB input as an endpoint. The CXN will show up as a Roon endpoint since it is Airplay compatible.

I have enjoyed the experience so far, but I want to have some way to directly connect my music collection to the sonos in the HT, and have all my music centrally stored with no need for a PC to be open or running. I have one connected to my main HT AVR which controls into 3 zones (2 outside) and then an additional one on my main living floor on another AVR. So I have been using Sonos for a few months for whole-home audio.
